Angkor Wat in Kingsman The Golden Circle Hollywood Movie

Kingsman: The Golden Circle, “With their headquarters destroyed and the world held hostage, members of Kingsman find new allies when they discover a spy organization in the United States known as Statesman. In an adventure that tests their strength and wits, the elite secret agents from both sides of the pond band together to battle a ruthless enemy and save the day, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.”

About midway into the story, the video starts to zoom into a secret jungle. Then it shows the entrance into a very awesome place. Along side are the walls of the stones of some kind of temple. You can also spot huge tree roots on some of those walls. At first thought, it looks like Angkor Wat, but was very skeptical because such a popular movie features Angkor Wat? hard to believe. As the movie progresses, it keeps showing more and more stones that look nothing else but the walls of the Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Was thinking it must be Angkor Wat. Later on, a character mentions that they have found a trace to one of the bad guys in Cambodia. That was when it’s confirmed that the temple is the Angkor Wat. Wow, for the first time, a popular Hollywood movie features the Angkor Wat loud and clear beside movies created by Angelina Jolie.

To the Director, thank you for featuring Angkor Wat and Cambodia in the movie. This should help more people know about the temple and the country if they have not known it already.
