Chinese New Year in America

“Happy Chinese New Year” is the most popular phase you will get from your Chinese friends or half Chinese friends during the Chinese New Year.

Even you are not living in China, you will still get the celebration phrase. You will get it wherever you live. In America, Asian American does celebrate Chinese New Year. It might not be the same as it is in China, but they at least make food, buy drink and offer them to their ancestors.

People would pray and ask for happiness, prosperity, love, money, health, wealth, and all the good stuffs in life that they want from their ancestors. Do they get what they want in life from praying? No. No one knows whatever we get in life ever come directly from the praying. NONE. But everyone are still praying whenever they get a chance and will most likely be keep praying for the rest of their life. Does it make sense? Probably not. But will people keep doing it? sure!

Enough about praying for now.

Let’s get back to reality :). The reality of real living. The living that has the bad and the good stuffs in it. Understanding life is to understand ourself, wishing for the ideal life will prevent people from understand real life and themselves.

Observer your own mind to understand life! Observe nature around you to understand universe and life.
