Five Steps to Be Happy
How to be happy? Everyone wants to be happy, but most don’t know what to do. Here is how. Five steps to be happy.
- Own your own happiness. Don’t blame outside circumstances or somebody else for not making you happy. Happiness comes from the inside and it’s a state of mind.
- Challenge your own story. Stop telling sad story to yourself. Tweak the story and look for the happy meaning.
- Enjoy the journey while working toward your goals. When we reach a goal, we can celebrate, but that only lasts a very short time. If we enjoy the journey, happiness will happen as we are moving toward the goals.
- Make relationship counts. One, enjoy relationship with your God whoever that is. Two, enjoy relationship with yourself. Third, have great relationship with your family, relatives and friends. At the end of the end, those are the ones who have the most impact on your life.
- Balance work with play. Don’t work and forgot play AND don’t play and forgot work. An excessive focus on any one of them will lead to problems in the other area.
